This site is a tribute to Bolanle Adeyeye - Afuye, who was born on March 01, 1977. She is much loved and will always be remembered.
Hour of death cannot be forecast, that we know and often say. Of course, we know the hour would come one day. The only thing we do when we say this, is, we imagine this hour would be in a distant future. We never imagine or thought we would be thinking about Bolanle as a memory.
Twenty-three years ago when we left secondary school, Saint Joseph Secondary School, Idimangoro, Agege, (SJSS) we never met again but communicate through the social media. The way you were raised as a complete Christian and a fun maker still rings bell and would ever remain green in our memories as mates and childhood friends.
We remembered how quiet you were in Art class(SS3 B) Your name was never always in the noisemakers' list because you feared to be caned. We remembered your interaction with close friends like Abimbola Joseph, Bolanle Kujebe, Fausat Bello, Ganiyat Adebayo, Mary Onomenghe and the likes. You were jovial in all your chats and very passionate to help people. One thing we can't forget is your infectious smile. (Erin o je oko o na). You were always smiling even when things weren't okay. You carried these endowed attributes till the last hour.
Bolanle Afuye, as fondly called way back in school, was a mirror or reflection to all of us; your courage, your determination and sense of humor was something of uncomparable sort. You were a true model to your children. You were a spark in a clink.
The life around you could testify to your tolerance. You were a true reflection of Christianity. You have never missed any HolyGhost service at the Redeemed Camp either monthly or yearly. Your dedication and service to God and humanity is worthy of emulation.
Bolanle, we remember your ever smiling face which bottles every concern you or people around you might have. You encourage people and talked to them as if you studied Guidance and Counselling as a course. You will greatly be missed.
One thing we should realise is life is eternal, and love is immortal and death is only a boundary line, and a boundary line is nothing, just the limit of our sight.
